The year 2022 is slowly coming to an end. A year marked by ups and downs. On the one hand, the corona pandemic, which has accompanied us continuously for the last two years, has receded into the background in large parts of Europe. For us dog athletes and Agility enthusiasts, this has meant a return to normality after severe restrictions during this time. However, one should always keep in mind that the virus has not been eradicated just because it has disappeared somewhat from the media. Health is the be-all and end-all for us as well as for our four-legged friends.

Last but not least, the virus has taught us that you can’t choose your faith, but also Russia’s military invasion of Ukraine. Within a few days, even hours, many lost their familiar environment and life in one fell swoop. After almost a year of war, our whole team stands with the Ukrainians. A country where people going through the unimaginable. In comparison, the reports about tournaments, European Open and World Championships are actually out of place. And yet it is precisely these moments that can give us stability in difficult times. After a two-year hiatus, it was just nice to see some of the best teams back in action. Be it at the World Championship, another tournament or simply on the training ground.

At this point we wish you a Merry Christmas and a peaceful celebration with your loved ones. Stay healthy. We too are taking a break. Where break is the wrong word. Because we actually have some changes coming up that mean a lot of work in the background. But we will keep you informed. As a final word this year, we just want to say thank you to all of you. 2022 was by far our most successful year. So thank you, thank you, thank you.
