Denmark Open 2021 canceled after lack of registrations due to Corona

With the end of the registration deadline for the Denmark Open 2021, the hope of being able to hold the tournament this summer also ends. Due to a lack of registrations, caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and the associated travel restrictions in many countries around the world, the organizers have decoded to not hold the event. Originally has been a limit of 800 starters per day set. This number was not reached after the registration deadline.

In addition to the lack of registrations, many participation fees have also been missing up to this point in time. A circumstance that can certainly be traced back also to the current situation. The Denmark Open have to bow to the virus for the second time in a row, like many other competitions. All participation fees that have already been paid will of course be reimbursed by the organizer as soon as possible.
