AWC 2026

Agility World Championship 2026 again in Finland?

At the last meeting of the FCI Agility Commission in Austria during the World Championship, they proposed Finland as the host country for the 2026 World Championships. The year 2026 was not chosen randomly. For the Finnish Agility Federation it will be the 20th anniversary since it was founded in 2006. At the same time, 2026 will also be the 40th year of Agility in Finland. The final decision will be made by the FCI board.

The last World Championship in Finland was held in 2019. Back then in the very southwest in Turku. The tournament in the Gatorade Arena once again set new standards in many ways. Among other things, thanks to the great support from the municipality of Turku. It is not yet clear where the 2026 tournament will take place. In the coming weeks and months, the Agility Association will examine a number of options that are capable of holding a tournament of this size. A return to Turku is therefore also possible.
