Germany wins half of all medals and thus also the European Open 2022 Medal table

Half of all medals awarded at the European Open 2022 go to Germany. Although the country has mostly been at the top of the medal table for years, the superiority this summer is impressive. Germany finished first in both the European Open and the Junior Open Agility World Championship. It is followed by Poland with a gold and a bronze medal. Both medals come from the team competition. Switzerland and the USA share third place, each with a gold medal. Silvan Zumthurm and Zeven secured gold for Switzerland and Angie Benacquisto with Sundae for the Americans.

No more gold was distributed. A silver medal each goes to the Czech Republic and Great Britain. From the host’s point of view, the 2 bronze medals for the Belgian team should be a great success. Medals in front of a home audience is always something special. The Austrians were the last country to make it into the ranking. The Small team secured another medal for the alpine country and a place on the medal table.
