Polish National Championship 2021: Aleksandra Gronek grabs victory in front of Iwona Golab

Aleksandra Gronek, Pawel Nowak, Dominika Kopacz and Magdalena Ziolkowska are the Polish champions of the year 2021. These four were determined last weekend as part of the national championships near Katowice in the so-called artificial turf arena Balon. The big favorite Iwona Golab with SeeYa and Applause came in second and fifth. The high flyer of the weekend was Medium plus winner Pawel Nowak, who not only won with bourbon but also achieved third place with bimber.

Editors note:

The above text was subsequently corrected. In the original text (“The big favorite Iwona Golab with SeeYa and Applause came in second and fifth. More was probably not possible due to an injury.”), we unhappily formulated the injury of Iwona Golab, that she did not win only because of this. We did not want to diminish the performance of Aleksandra Gronek or anyone else and of course apologize to her if it was perceived that way. It was definitely not meant that way.

This is very unpleasant comment suggesting that the winner in large only won because of Iwona’s injury… which is both untrue and unfair.

  2. Beata Luchowska says:

“More was probably not possible due to an injury” is an unfair comment that diminishes the Polish Champion’s victory.

To be honest I haven’t seen any injury, maybe only over trained dogs which were being pushed to run faster but they couldn’t and did their best

    Hello Olga and Beata

Thanks for the feedback. According to the above correction and editors note in the text, we have of course corrected this, as this is definitely not the intention and our opinion to diminish a) the Polish Champion’s victory neither b) the performance from Aleksandra Gronek or anyone else. That was indeed very unfortunate formulated, and we can only agree.

    Best regards
