Despite the circumstances, we wish you a Merry Christmas

Dear Readers

Who would have expected at Christmas a year ago that our life is completely turned upside down within a year? The Corona Virus has us all under control – at the moment more than ever before. One tournament cancellation followed the other and from one point onwards our daily editorial work consisted practically only of packaging and announcing them accordingly. Always with the faces of the humans behind the tournament in our mind. People who organize them with a lot of passion and try to give us athletes a unique experience. So that every tournament feels a little like vacation. Holidays with good friends, lots of fun hours and lots of good conversations.

We therefore hope that the situation in the new year will be more positive, despite the unpleasant prospects. When the news is no longer just about infected people, dead, restrictions and corona measures. And also when our news on agilitynow.eu are again increasingly about tournaments and all the little stories around them. And most important beside the health aspect, to save the existence of the many self-employed people in our sport. If we athletes miss tournaments and training sessions, that’s one thing. But if you are dependent on the income as a trainer or hall operator, then that is a completely different situation.

But actually we only wanted to briefly touch on the ubiquitous Corona issue. After all, the Christmas time should be a beautiful and happy moment within the closest circle. Now in an even closer circle than usual. But we also want to remind, that it is a time to self-reflect and slow down. With this in our mind, we wish you a peaceful celebration and a relaxing time. And of course, stay healthy!
