Pascal Risi and Cainy retire from starting at AWC due to a medicament

After the injury-related retirement of Simon Tabourat and Mudi Dinamit followed yesterday the next bad message for the Swiss National Team. Pascal Risi and Cainy can also not travel to Sweden for the Agility World Championship 2018. Border Collie Cainy needs a medication which is on the doping list in Sweden and not allowed at official events of the Swedish Kennel Club. Of course, there are no malicious intentions behind ther medication to gain an advantage. That was the reason why the Swiss team leadership around Sascha Grunder has tried in vain to intervene. They hoped until the end for a exception in this case. Vain. The restriction remains and Pascal Risi renounces of a start at the World Championship without the Medications because of the health from the dog.

Just a few weeks ago the Swiss team had to remove Simon Tabourat and Dinamit from the team due a injury. In both cases, there is no subsequent nomination. His place in the team competition will be filled internally. There are less than 30 days left until the World Championship in Kristianstad starts.
