Mexico follows the trend and introduces two new size classes

The Mexican Federation will also host all competitions from 2020 in two new size classes, as some other countries have already introduced. The categories “Regular” and “Petit” are new with a jump height of 45cm and respectively 20cm. The “Petit” category is for dogs up to 29.9cm while the Regular category is for dogs between 43cm and 49.9cm. The chosen variant is also the one that is used in most other countries which have four or five categories. Beside them, Mexico already has a 5cm lower jump height in the original categories than the height which is set internationally. Unlike the other two North American countries Canada and the United States, Mexico is a full member of the FCI.
