Magna Racino

Magna Racino Agility Open will be suspended in 2022 and will take place again in 2023

In a short Facebook post already in September, the organizers of the Magna Racino Agility Open announced that the next event is planned for January 2023. This is surprising at first, as many events have already been scheduled for 2022 and the forecasts of the corona development are somewhat more confident. But if you consider the enormous preparation time that an event of this size entails, holding it this January would be quite risky. The Magna Racino Open last took place at the end of January 2020 before the great outbreak of the Covid pandemic in Europe and was one of only a few international events in 2020.

In Austria there are no longer any capacity limits, but events with more than 100 different people must be reported electronically to the local district administration authority. To do this, a prevention concept must be drawn up, a COVID officer appointed and the so-called 3-G rule (tested, recovered and vaccinated) followed. Events with more than 500 people require approval by the district administration authority. The Magna Racino Open are one of the most popular tournaments in Austria. Not least thanks to the great infrastructure in the equestrian center Magna Racino and the good organization of the event.
